Dow Launches at MD&M West 2018 its Most Versatile Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) Grades to Date to Expand Medical Device Design Innovation

ANAHEIM, Calif. – February 6, 2018 – Dow Medical Solutions, a business unit of the DowDuPont Specialty Products Division, launched today to the U.S. healthcare market two new Dow Corning® QP1-33X0 Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) grades and new Dow Corning® QP1-5040 Self-Adhesive LSR grade. Each is a low-temperature cure (LTC) technology. These new additions to the company’s portfolio of LSR solutions support a broader range of rigid plastic substrates in overmolding applications and can enhance patients’ experiences, while delivering manufacturing and cost advantages.
