Jabil Opens New Class 1K Clean Room & Creates Unified European Design Engineering Organization to Provide Streamlined, End-to-End Services for Medical Device Customers

DÜSSELDORF, Germany – Nov. 17, 2011 – Here at COMPAMED 2011, Hall 8b, Booth H17, Jabil Healthcare & Life Sciences, a leading design and manufacturing services company, today announced the opening of a new class 1K clean room in Vienna, Austria, and inaugurated its medical new product introduction (NPI) assembly work cell. To further expand its leading-edge European capabilities, Jabil has also created a unified European design engineering organization to benefit medical device original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) with combined capabilities and streamlined processes. These new capabilities support Jabil Healthcare & Life Sciences’ state-of-the-art design, process development and prototyping of durable and disposable drug delivery devices.
