PolyOne and Kautex Unveil Multi-Layer TPE Technology to Boost Visual, Tactile Appeal for Packaging

SHANGHAI, China – At Chinaplas 2010, PolyOne’s GLS Thermoplastic Elastomers – a business unit within PolyOne’s Specialty Engineered Materials group and a global leader in high-performance, custom-formulated TPEs – announced today that it is exhibiting a multi-layer technology co-developed with Kautex Machines that gives packaging designers new options. PolyOne is displaying co-extruded, blow-molded high-density polyethylene (HDPE) bottles layered with TPE made using this technology at booth WD321.
