Dow Corning to Showcase Silicone Innovation, Differentiation and Durability in Glazing Applications for Construction at glasstec 2016

Dow Corning, a global leader in silicones, silicon-based technology and innovation, will launch major new additions to its industry-leading portfolio of crystal-clear silicone bonding products at glasstec 2016. Exhibiting in stand B59, Hall 11, the company will also feature its high-strength insulating glass sealant that can boost productivity in the construction of demanding glass façades. Further, to demonstrate the extreme durability of its technology, Dow Corning will provide insights from its 45 years of structural glazing projects, and will share results from a recent European research project and testing of a 25-year-old façade according to the European Technical Approval Guideline (ETAG) 002. Both studies prove that the longevity potential for Dow Corning structural glazing silicones exceeds 50 years.
